Training Requirements for Belt Testing

80% of classes over 3 months (20 classes for twice a week students, 10 classes for once a week)

Complete execution of the form with no help from instructors

Belt tests take place 4 times a year at the following schedule:

**In order to be eligible to test for this rank, students must complete three "stripe tests". For each stripe, they must choose 3 out of the first 4 forms and demonstrate them on their own with no mistakes. Stripe tests can be done all at once, or individually. After earning all three stripes, that student will be eligible to test.

There are no Korean language requirements, but students will be required to write a 2-3 page essay on their journey to black belt. The things they learned, the challenges they faced, their goals in the future, etc. The essay is due the week before the test.
